Guest Post on Gigi's Gone Shopping

While Gigi is taking care of more important things (i.e. Baby G!), I guest-posted the 5 things I'm most looking forward to this fall in her Fall Fab 5 feature.  Go check it out here!

Are you looking forward to fall?  Any fall items in particular that have caught your eye?

As for me, no baby yet.  I'm still mostly resting and taking it easy, but the car is now packed up with baby essentials and my hospital bag  :)  Once Baby Girl arrives and is settled, I want to make her a leopard cape (sold out already at Baby Gap) and matching little purse - I am super excited on all the future Baby Girl projects!!

Baby Gap Leopard Satchel Bag (buy here)
Baby Gap Leopard Print Cape (sold out in US, but still available in Canada)

Have a wonderful weekend everybody!

  6. Mimi - I know! Leave it to Baby Gap to make fashionista pieces - love it!

Annie - I cannot even begin to tell you how EXCITED I am to dress her up in all kinds of things! Poor gal - she's going to be exhausted from her wardrobe changes LOL.

Jessy - I so love the leopard too! So much attitude and fierceness for a baby - LOVE!

LePetiteLemon - To be fair, I have never made a purse before so I have no idea how it will turn out - we'll see! :) Have you thought about making a fur collar? I made one last year and it was actually relatively simple (and cheap! ~$5).

Kileen - Aw, thanks! I can't wait to dress her up and take TONS of pictures :D

  10. ooooo how cute is the little girl leopard cape??? I had a little white one when I was a kid, my mom kept it so I can put it on my daughter someday...SOMEDAY! Anyways, I can't wait to see how you'll incorporate my mom's tulip pleats in a garment you'll be making, you are the second person to mention using it as an inspiration! She is so thrilled and would love to see pix if you decide to go with it :)
