I just adore the simple paisley with the 2 colors. You did a fabulous job:) I love the Gucci pumps too!
ReplyDeleteThanks Annie! :)
DeleteThat is such a lovely dress! I love the neckline and the print is perfect!
ReplyDeleteThanks Abby :)
Deletehmmm, im not sure what i feel about funnel necks in general. the print is quite pretty, especially close up. im so jealous of your sewing abilities!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Amber! I like the general silhouette of them but they don't seem very necklace friendly. I rather like necklaces so I'm a bit torn about them.
Deletei love paisley print! i just bought a pair of shorts from h&m that are paisley print. i really like the fitted bodice and the flared skirt.
ReplyDeleteI love your paisley shorts! They look incredibly cute on you!
DeleteI really love this print and the colors. Great fit on the dress also and love the accessories.
ReplyDeleteThanks Patience! :)
DeleteLove the Mad Men vibe of the dress! I think the funnel-neck would look great with a brooch if you are thinking of adding more accesories :)
ReplyDeleteAh, a brooch is a wonderful idea! Thanks Olyvia! :)
DeleteGreat dress!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely dress!!! also like your bag:)
ReplyDeleteKisses, Lucy:)
Thanks Lucy! :)
DeleteI will always be amaze at your sewing skills. The print is very pretty. The dress is lovely.
ReplyDeleteAw, thanks Ying!
DeleteSo cute and fits so well. Love those shoes too! And necklace, why not? You pull it off great!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your sweet comment, Lisa!
DeleteI think a necklace would look good unless it blended into the paisley :) Another great job SPG :)

Thanks Katherine! I sometimes get stuck on what stands out in person vs. on camera. I loved the tassel necklace in the mirror but it gets lost in the photo.
DeleteLove that dress and love the funnel neck too! you are super creative SPW. Wish I could do something with my sewing machine other than just the straight alterations!!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Honestly, I think if you can sew straight, you can pretty much sew anything! Give it a shot! :)
DeleteThat dress fits you perfectly...you are so talented with the sewing machine SPG! =)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Karen! :)
Deleteyou are so talented, I would wear a bright colored necklace so that it will stand out. Looking very sassy ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks Yvonne! I'll have to try a bright necklace next time!
DeleteThat dress is SO pretty - love the pattern :)

Thanks Annie!
DeleteI've never seen paisley look like this before and I like it better than the traditional look. I think the patterns looks great on your frame (just the right size for it, actually)and the color compliments your skin beautifully. I like unique details on clothes so the funnel neck is a great touch.
ReplyDeleteP.S - This dress requires a collar necklace. The dainty tassel is dwarfed by the print/high neck.
P.S2 - thank you for the Tillary link ($100 is a fantastic price) but the colors don't cooperate with my closet (really, I looked. Hard). I'm actually stalking the leather version :D
Thanks Anna! I really appreciate the necklace feedback! Elle (of fastfoodandfastfashion) recently did a post on the leather Tillary if you are interested.
Deletewo this dress is wonderful and the pattern is so beautiful! I love how you did it, the colour is very beautiful! and I love this special collar!
ReplyDeletethanks so much for your sweet comment on my blog, your blog is so lovely, and I really love your DIY-ideas - I followed you ;-)

Hi Anita - thank you for your kind words! You have a great blog!
DeleteThat dress is very chic and I feel Asia from it. You look so beautiful in it!
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you so very much! :)
DeleteI think gone sort of chain braided necklace or bracelet that matches/,compliments the under tones of the dress, bag or the shoes would be classy and stand out.
