I know this might look a little daunting, but it honestly is not that bad when you actually do it!

Instructions are very clear. They do seem daunting but I'm sure if someone took their time, it'd be as easy as you say :). Love the skirt, very versatile!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the instructions. I always wanted to add pockets to my skirts, but never thought about how to do so. Your instructions are very clear and doesn't seem too hard to work with. I'll definitely give this a shot with some fabric I picked up last month.

ReplyDeleteSimple and classic style! This skirts looks totally looks daunting to sew though. I think my first sewing skirt project took me 10 hours! Those little pleats by the waistband look hard to do....

ReplyDeleteNot sure if you are still responding to comments, but I was wondering how the top of the zipper looks on the waistband. I'm an advanced sewer so this doesn't seem too hard, I'm just having a hard time picturing how the waistband would look for your last few steps.

DeleteI use invisible zippers for these kinds of projects, so the zipper essentially just ends at the top of the waistband without any further adjustments. I know many people add a hook & eye at the top, but I tend not to (laziness).
