The whole family's still sick and I seem to have replaced my flu / eye infection with a raging head cold (which is a good trade, but I'd prefer to just be healthy). Just letting you know in case this post sounds unintelligible. :)

What color of outerwear are you looking for this winter? I'm presently drawn to yellow and red-orange. Hoping everyone is staying healthy!
H&M for all the reasons you mentioned. I think toggle coats have a cute look and is best in bright colors. Hope you feel better soon, S! Nothing a hot cup of matcha won't cure? :)
ReplyDeleteI prefer the H&M coat! I prefer the mustard yellow over normal yellow. Get well soon!
ReplyDeleteOh no, I hope you feel better very soon! Ha ha, love this comparison. I have been wanting to try on that ON coat, but now I'm definitely not in any rush. Funny, I've been on the hunt for a yellow coat too...that and purple.

From looking at the pictures, it looks like the quality of the H&M one is much better than ON. I find that ON doesn't really fit petites well at all (haven't really tried their petite online items aside from their jeans).

Oh no! Feel better. Gargling with salt water can help clear up a cold faster!
ReplyDeleteOoo I love the H&M one on you :) The fit is definitely better :0) Hope you get better soon!

i hope you feel better soon - the coat looks really cute on you! (the H&M one)
ReplyDeleteI remember trying both on over black Friday, and I wasn't overly impressed by both. I ended up with the light grey nubby coat and the dark green coat w/the zipper details at H&M. Nubby one was marked down to $30 from $99!
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon!!!!
Neat comparison SPG! Im hunting a deep red/maroon..
ReplyDeleteAww...hope the head cold passes soon. :/
ReplyDeleteThe H&M is definitely a better fit on you. :)
Not really looking for any coats this year...I think I am set with what I have.
I'm glad you chose the H&M one. I'll be wearing a bright pink coat this winter.
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better soon.

Yay for H&M win, though the thickness of the coat would not suit DC winters ;). Good luck finding a bright coat!
ReplyDeleteGreat review and comparison! I'm surprised the H&M coat is only $30, that seems like a pretty good deal, but like you said it's not very thick so you end up having to get another coat to make up for the colder temps.

I like the bright yellow for winter - what a fun color. I think I like the H&M coat better for looks, but I wish it was thicker and warmer!
ReplyDeleteRed-organge for sure! I am a new petite fashion blogger, http://weekdays2weekendsinstyle.blogspot.com. Nice to meet you here! :)
ReplyDeleteI saw the ON coat yesterday. The fabric content is polyester and rayon; not exactly warm stuff. I thought it was really cheap, even at $15.94 as the weekly special.
ReplyDeleteHave to add that I was in H&M this week for the first time in ages. I thought the fabrics and construction were just horrendously cheap. This from someone who is thrifty, and also shopped H&M when we lived in Germany, prior to H&M coming to the States.
Deletealthough i love yellow the Old Navy one is a lil too bright for me. I saw the HM one and I like it alot!
