Sweater: Banana Republic Cowl Neck (bought this in 4 colors bc I love the look so much)
Dress: H&M (was a killer deal last fall for $7!)
Belt: H&M
Bag: Melie Bianco Ariana, Natural (giveaway win from Cute & Little, buy here)
Big thank you to Kileen for this gorgeous bag - I love it! Will do a proper review soon.
Ring: Amrita Singh Napeague, Blue Lapis (buy here)
I usually hate stretchy adjustable rings with a passion. I've had ones in the past that were too tight, too loose or just uncomfortable to wear in general. This one though is perfect. It conforms nicely to your finger and is comfortable to wear all day.
Bracelets: "Jeweled" one from Dillards, Turquoise enamel from J. Crew Crewcuts

Beautiful outfit SPG! Pink looks sooo good on you. Love the skirt and the accessories. Perfect.

DeleteBeautiful outfit. I'm so jealousy that you were able to find the H&M maxi dress. I love the comb of the accessories.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ying! This was such a lucky find since it wasn't in my local store but happened to be in one near my Uncle's.
DeleteI love the maxi skirt as dress. The sweater complements it perfectly!
ReplyDeleteI meant dress as skirt. lol!
ReplyDeleteLOL, thanks Jessy! :)
Deleteomg such a beautiful look! love the colors on you!!
ReplyDeleteAww, thanks so much Ping! :)
DeleteWhat a steal on the dress! I think I saw some maxi for $7 too but not this particular print. It is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteBtw - I haven't heard anything from Allison Izu in regards to the pair of jeans I won from your giveaway in December, odd.
Thanks Thu! Will definitely keep you posted on a response RE the AI jeans!
DeleteOoo I love that bag! Great win :) and that dress is really cute - the floral patterns are so spring colored :)

Thanks Katherine! I felt so lucky to win such a great-looking bag!
DeleteBut SPG, you're talented with a needle, so no need to shell out more $ for shoes ;) Me on the other hand, do, lol.
ReplyDeleteI'm regretting putting this dress back when I had the chance to buy it last summer. Love how you winterized it but kept the colorful spring colors.
Haha, you're sweet but my problem revolves around waffling on different shoe heights :D Thanks Cee!
Deletegreat idea! i seriously can not wait until summer to get here to wear my maxi dresses!

ReplyDeleteThanks Bessie! Such a stroke of luck with that giveaway :)
DeleteI like how you pair a spring/summer dress with a cozy sweater! Great accessories too! And i agree with that stretchable rings are so uncomfortable! It usually pinches my skin!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Oh I hate that pinching!
DeleteI love how you styled this! Great look!

Thanks so much! :)
DeleteSo pretty! Love the floral maxi! did you feel like a princess while picking up your dress and walking ;-)
ReplyDeleteThank you! LOL, I did at first and then I was just annoyed :D
DeleteGreat way to cozy up the maxi dress! I had one dress too that I hesitated hemming but in the end I'm glad I did - I avoided many many disasters I'm sure :P
ReplyDeleteHaha, I just need to commit to taller shoes or hemming - I'll probably give in to hemming :D
DeleteSo cute- love how you winterized the dress...and still getting over how you scored it for $7! I can't stop staring at your bracelets- gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Annie! Bracelets and rings have been my latest obsessions :)
DeleteLove that you guys had a lunch date! :) Very cute look!! Hopefully you did not have to do too much walking and holding up the bottom!
ReplyDeleteAnd congrats on winning Kileen's giveaway! :)
Thanks Michelle! No, not too much walking thank goodness!
Deletei am loving this outfit! it's formal but still laidback in a way. :) i like the way the hem looks -- i hope you find the perfect shoes for it because it looks great!

Udderly Smooth Giveaway
Thanks Mimi! I like the long length look because it feels like like you're floating above the ground...until you trip LOL
DeleteI really like this look! I've been mulling over ways to make my maxi dress wearable in the winter too and I'm glad you posted this look because I'm quite inspired by it. The cowl neck works quite nicely here!
ReplyDeleteP.s - this IS a great bag
Thanks Anna! You always have the sweetest things to say - you know how to make a gal feel good about herself :)
DeleteGorgeous bag and I love this look. (I too am guilty of wearing a too long dress before I've had time to hem it, I usually end up clutching it in my hand pretending I'm a bride with a train loop).
ReplyDeleteI think maxis are great on petites, can actually make us look so much longer with the right fit and waistline.
Thank you! I'm a huge fan of maxi dresses - such an easy way to get dressed and look cute :)
DeleteLove your ring and sweater! I have a giveaway
