Rust with blue and gray is a great color combination. I don't know that I would think to put them together (I'd probably pair it with camels and beiges) but I think it looks great. Good to have my horizons expanded :) I also like the tie in the front of the jacket; it makes it unique.
ReplyDeleteP.S - I would love to enter the giveaway but alas, I'm too tall :(

ReplyDeletemy goodness, did you really just have a baby!?! i also love this color of blazer, although i dont know how to wear blazers in general!

I thought we had it good with temps in the high 60s on Mon. *jealous of your 70 degrees*
ReplyDeleteI think you styled this nicely... the nautical flair works nicely with the rust color. I'd have gone the boring route and pair it against all black.
I love this blazer and I like how you paired it with shorts...so jealous because it is about 40 in Chicago.
ReplyDeleteI love the blazer and how you paired it with the striped top! The ring and necklace go so well too :)
ReplyDeleteReminds me of my redwood blazer by J Crew. Thanks for some inspiration :)
ReplyDeleteI like the way you styled it!! The alternative is to combined it with skinnies and boots!!
ReplyDeleteIt took me 2 years to go back to my weight after delivering...you are so skinny in just a few moths? sigh,,,,
I love how you styled this blazer! I'm really boring so I usually just wear my blazers with jeans or over a dress :P
ReplyDeleteThe blazer is fun and different, in a good way! I REALLY love the necklace too.
ReplyDeleteAnna - Camels and beiges would be great too - thanks for giving me more pairing ideas! Lucky you for being tall! I would LOVE to be taller.
ReplyDeleteNewpetite / Sydney / AdamAlexMommy / Kileen / Michelle / Cecylia / Patience / Threadsandbuttons - Thanks so much! I'm loving the tie lapel too - such a cute little detail :)
Amber - Aw, you are so sweet - thank you! I was finally able to button my pre-preg jeans the other day and was thrilled :D
Thu - Sorry to hear they didn't have your size! If I decide to get rid of it, you'll be the first to know :)
Cat - Wow, that is warm! Which area of the country do you live?
Raeshelle - Those sound like great blazers! I don't think I'm "hip" enough to rock those ;)
Mimi - Yay for another styling idea - thank you!
Cee - I think it's supposed to be 67 degrees on Tuesday here. Can you believe all this mild weather around Thanksgiving?! Hope this is indicative of a mild winter.
Bessie - Yipes on the drastic temp difference in Chicago! It's actually a skirt but the pic does make it look like shorts!
Annie - Thank you, dear! You know how I love my stripes :)
Gigi - Ooh, will have to peruse your posts to see your J. Crew version!
Francesca - I still have more weight to lose! And the belly is definitely still pretty big and flabby but I'm able to camouflage it with different things :)
Elaine - Not boring at all! That's what I usually do too but I'm trying different mixes to maximize my purchases :)
I love your outfit, especially the color of the blazer, the fall color! I would wear the blazer with the same top and black pencil skirt for work.
ReplyDeletesuper cute! love the colorful blazer!!
ReplyDeletea rose - Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely have to try the pencil skirt look :)
ReplyDeleteSandy - Thanks so much!
