H&M Conscious Collection Dress + 20% Off Coupon

This dress comes from the H&M Conscious Collection and I love how girly it is :)  It's an incredibly flowy dress with some cabochons on the shoulders arranged in floral patterns.  This fits very nicely in the shoulders and bust so I have hopes that this will be versatile post-pregnancy too (it is a non maternity dress in case you're wondering).

Also, did you know if you sign up for the H&M newsletter, they'll send you a 20% off coupon?

Dress:  H&M Conscious Collection
Belt:  Ann Taylor Nude Snake Print Belt
Necklaces:  Banana Republic and Old Navy
Shoes:  Gucci d'Orsay Camel Pumps
Bag:  "Charlotte" Messenger Bag with strap shortened for shoulder carrying

After seeing endless Ann Taylor ad campaigns of layered necklaces, I have jumped on the bandwagon.  Do you layer?  What are your "rules" for doing so?  For me, I just like to have the lengths staggered and the hardware matching (i.e. silver with silver and gold with gold).

I was curious what this dress would look like on a non-preggy and found this picture:

  1. Whaaat?! I've been missing out on all the iPhone and BB apps for coupons :( so I could definitely use this coupon the old fashioned way. Thank you for the heads up!

You know, the dress looks like a potato sack on the model, but it works on you nicely due to the belly :) I'm still in awe of your ability to wear heels this far along in your pregnancy!

  2. What a perfect dress for a preggo lady :) It is so fresh and summery. I'd love to use the code but I am on a ban right now :( Thanks for sharing. P.S: Your "Charlotte" is truly beautiful.

  3. that dress is beautiful on you! im not overly talented at layering necklaces. ive put pearls + one other necklace together at varying lengths, but that's pretty much it!

  4. you looks great and love the material of that dress! i really like that you belted the dressed and wore a matching necklace. thanks for letting us know about the coupon! will definitely come in handy this weekend when im shopping.

  5. Oooh, I definitely want to try the layering necklaces thing!

I love the dress on you! I always love seeing the obligatory belly tuck pictures! Those are my favorite! Hehehe. :)

  6. I think you look better in it. =)

  7. Your bump is getting a lot bigger! How many months along now? 4? I lost track! You look great in that dress. I'm all for layering necklaces but sometimes it gets all tangled up!

  8. First of all...are you suppose to be wearing heels while you're pregnant?! But this is your second're the expert!

And the dress..when I saw it in the Conscious Collection Ad campaign...I was wondering, who would wear that? Has to be someone really tall. But you definitely look good in the dress, the belt is a great idea. I wonder how non-pregnant would look in the dress with a belt?

  9. Ohh SPG you definitely rocked this dress. I've walked by this dress on the rack quite a few times without giving it much thought, but the way you styled makes it look very pretty! :)

Your baby belly is so cute, and I love your Chanel.

  10. Absolutely gorgeous and I love that you are dressing up and showing off the bump!!!

  11. The dress is so gorgeous! I actually like it on your pregnant bod better than on that model! LOL

  12. Nice dress. You rock with the skinny belt. :)

  13. You look really nice with this dress!!!
I use to layer but now I bought several multi-strand necklaces and I don't layer anymore;-)

  14. You may that dress look so lovely! Unfortunately, the dress isn't nearly as gorgeous as the model or you make it look. I'm 5'7" and pretty skinny, and dress falls terribly on me! It was such a disappointment since the material was great and the price is even better!

  15. omgosh this dress is amazing on you.. love the pick of you cupping your stomach!!! SO PRETTY!

i'm amazed that you can still wear heels hahahah you're one stylish pregnant momma!

  16. Cee - Yay, I'm glad you found the coupon note helpful! Usually other sites are much better with the deal hunting :) And shhh, I don't wear stiletto type heels now - it's just that my normal shoes (typically a wedge of some sort) are downstairs and I'm too lazy to lug them upstairs for pictures.

Sydney - Teehee, thank you! Hope you find your own Charlotte soon!!!!

Purses and puppies - Thank you so much! I like the idea of layering pearls - I'll have to try that! :)

Ping - Thank you doll! Hope you found something good at H&M!

LePetiteLemon - Still thinking about your super cute houndstooth scarf as belt - such a wonderful look! Thank you! I'm so glad you like the belly bump pics :)

Aki - Aww, thank you! It's not often I get told I look better in stuff than the model LOL.

Jarucha - I'm 6 months now! 3 more months of getting bigger :D Thank you so much! I definitely get necklace tangles too and try to untangle them throughout the day.

Lor - LOL! I was just telling Cee that the heels are just for show. My real shoes are downstairs and I'm too lazy to carry them back and forth for photo purposes :) I'm curious about how it looks belted and non-pregnant too - we'll see later!

Jen - Aww, thank you for the kind words! I need to use Charlotte more often but I tend to baby her :)

Elaine - Thanks so much! I felt so feminine and ruffly in this dress (and a little like a big cupcake) but I like it :)

Jessy - Thank you - that is so sweet! I definitely fill it out more LOL :D

Fashion and Number - Thank you! I love belting things - much more flattering than unbelted ;)

Francesca - Thank you! Multi-strand necklaces are a good way to go too!

xraindropsx - Thank you for the sweet words and for visiting! I think it'd look great on a skinny tall person too but I guess it works pretty well on the short and round LOL :D Oh I know - the price was so good and I loved that it was environmentally friendly too!

Lisa - Aww, thank you sweetie! LOL on the heels - they're totally for show :)

I'm the type of gal who gets giddy when I receive mail - it's no different with comments! I really appreciate the feedback and love hearing from you :)
