May Flowers OOTD

Quickie OOTD post today.

April showers bring May flowers...or so they say.  The first day of May here just brought more showers, but that's OK.  I'll bring my own flowers :)

I probably dressed up too much today as we really only went to Smashburger (to satisfy my craving for super yummy fried pickles) and then bead shopping but I felt very feminine in this outfit.

Dress:  LOFT Outlet Flutter Collar Dress, Fuchsia, XS
Necklaces:  DIY Freshwater Pearls on Chain (buy here at my Etsy store)  + Strand of Freshwater Pearls
Purse:  Piano Tote
Shoes:  Gucci d'Orsay Pumps, Camel

  1. First day of May brought showers here in Toronto as well! :( This outfit is surely feminine, but you look great! I love the floral pattern : )

  2. You look so gorgeous in this outfit, SPG! The coat is the perfect pairing with this dress.

What is it with pregnant women and pickles? You're not the first one that I've heard with that craving :)

  3. OMG you look absolutely beautiful!!!!! I can't believe that's just a regular LOFT dress! I have a total misconception of pregnancy and clothes. That jacket with the dress is perfect - certainly an outfit to brighten up the day!

  4. Your belly is getting bigger every day, isn't it :)? Have you try LOFT’s maternity? I am wondering if it’s petite-friendly. Thank goodness, the weather is finally warming up. Have a great week!

  5. Aww your look so gorgeous! Heart your coat it's so pretty and feminie!

Haha thank you :) I use rollers! I'm probably the last person on the planet that still uses rollers considering it is like SOOOO 80's haha but to be fair I started curling my hair back in the early 90's so that may be why haha. Io never got the hang of curling irons and I just end up burning my hands and face. Plus I don't have the patience to sit there and individually curl sections of my hair. With hot rollers it takes me 5 min to put them in and then i just go about my business.

  13. Jessy - It's still raining here! Hope you're getting some sunshine in Toronto! Thank you!

Cee - Aww, you are so sweet!! HAHA about the pickles - I've actually always loved them but I do have more a craving for fried things now :)

Elaine - Thank you doll - you are too kind! Oh yes, definitely milk your regular clothes during pregnancy! There really isn't a big need for mat. clothes (except pants or a Bella Band) until you get pretty big which is usually the last trimester.

Sydney - Yes, definitely getting bigger and bigger :) I haven't tried LOFT maternity since they don't seem to carry it in stores and I like to try stuff on first. Plus, I'm still mostly wearing normal clothes. Are you also getting a lot of rain?

Lisa - Thank you! I seriously need to re-look at hot rollers! I used to use them but the set only had 5 rollers and then I lost the clips that keep them in place LOL.

Modniza - Thanks for stopping by and commenting!!

Sunshine - LOL - me too! Hehe about looking nice to pig out :D

Ping - Hehe, thanks so much Ping! I'm just oily LOL :D

Annie - THANK YOU! I've learned so much from bloggers like you that I think I've stepped up my game clothing wise for this pregnancy! I was pretty much a complete slob for my 1st pregnancy LOL.

Aki - Haha, only for pics! I can't stand looking both short and squat LOL.

Elle - Thank you! I love the giant flowers :) I'm glad you're getting sunshine - soak some up for me!

Mimi - Thanks so much! :)

  14. this outfit looks amazing. What's great, is that it looks as though you can wear the dress after the pregnancy and never even know you wore it these few months.
    Stay glowing sunshine!
